Hello, I’m Heidi McNulty.

I’ve been working in the mental health field since 2008 and I am passionate about this work. I believe in the inner wisdom each of us holds and in people’s capacity to heal emotional wounds. Our brains have an incredible ability to learn, adapt, and heal. They are amazing and change is possible!

I use an integrative approach to therapy starting with learning about an individual’s concerns, needs, and strengths. I believe the therapeutic relationship is at the heart of the therapeutic process and I commit to making the therapy space a protected space for each individual. I work with people to build upon their strengths, connect to their inner wisdom, and use their own guidance to build a life that feels meaningful to them.

My credentials are as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). I have an MA in Counseling Psychology from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota and a BS in Elementary Education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Adaptive Internal Relational (AIR) Network, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I am also a board approved supervisor for those seeking LPC or LPCC licensure.
